ONUS

Never braved through

but what from purest future’s wreath

gave anew, passiver

than skyblue’s nightly ceremony,

was my must:

middle’s mind, the line

measured close to improving

pip by pip

the shellheads, riddling

nascent gesture

eating its way through into

brusque light intrusion

as kindest traveler holds on to

what wing alone could later be

with soft air imbued.
